Busy before vacation

All shops will be closed for my upcoming vacation this weekend.
Can't wait to go back to Taiwan, my home country. This will be the first time my baby boy travel oversea. I am exciting but also kind of worry to take him on plane. Hope he won't cry too much up there and be a good boy. Other then that, I can't wait to go around with him in Taiwan and show him where his parents grow up. I know he can't understand all that yet, but I feel exciting to just think about it.
After I back from Taiwan, I will have a few changes for my business. I will work on new projects and hopefully to show you the results soon. :)

I have several online stores. PapaSupply at etsy.com focus on selling crafting supplies especially buttons.
I used professional button machine to make all of my buttons. All the buttons has plastic cover on. Most of the buttons in the shop are flat back buttons, but I can also make those as pinback buttons (badges).
What's flat back button? You can see as follow picture, the back of the button is flat and can glue on to any flat surface for your crafting projects.

What's puzzle eraser? It's a eraser but also as a toy that you can take apart and put together. Those erasers made from Iwako or Dream are eco-friendly, non, toxic, no lead, no paint, no latex. 

 They are so cute and small. There are so many different ones to choose from, I just feel dizzy when I saw all those cute pictures.

 I took these pictures few years ago with my furniture miniatures. See how those erasers fit so well with Japanese style room or modern office environment.

Tile Coasters

Wow, it's been a long time since my last updates.

My life didn't make much different, but I start making new products, the tile coasters.

I have many left over scrapbooking paper lying around and I never know what to do with them since I don't do scrapbooking at all. And then I saw some great tutorials of how to make your own tile coasters from some great blogs. Here are some of my results. Those are perfect gifts for teachers, family, friends, wedding favors, housewarming, holiday gifts... etc. I sealed the tops at least 4 times to provide a shiny finish and help protect the tile from water damage. I use my own set at every house party latest and get a lot of positive feedback. You can find those at Papawaii.etsy.

Hello 2011

It's been a while since my last update. Chinese New Year is around the corner, guess this is good time to count the blessing from last year.

2010 is the year of change:

1. We moved to our first home, and we finally have our own bed.

2. I started to work at home as full time job.

3. Then I opened another ETSY shop using my brand name "PapaDesign". papadesign.etsy.com

4. Moved my Papawaii shop from eCrater to the new domain name : papawaii.com .

5. Bought a die cut machine and started to sell die cuts.

6. Bought a 1" button machine and started to sell buttons.

7. Joined 2 local Craft Shows.

8. Started to sell crafting supplies: canndypan.etsy.com

and from all the changes, I had a better productive year then 2009. I learned a lot throughout the year and now I know what I want to do in my shop then before.

For the year of 2011, I hope I will be able to join more craft shows, make more designs, and focus more on my all shops. Hope everything will turn out alright this year.

My first Craft Show

I just had my first craft show last weekend in a church.

I chose an outdoor booth but because of the rain, I got moved to indoor. And because of this, we have a very cozy show.

I was kind of nervous before the show, especially after I know that my husband won't be able to stay with me. But thanks to my best friends, she came and stayed with me for half the show time and helped me to take down everything.

This is not a very busy show due of the rain. But I still make some money and not one mean customer. For the first show, I am really happy about it. Can't wait for my second show in 1.5 weeks.

Playing Super Mario Wii is what me and my husband do almost everyday. I am not a good player, almost die in every other 5 min. But it's just a fun way to spend time with my husband.

We also have the original super Mario game in our wii machine. And the plumber guy surely have many clothes. This is what this T-SHIRT about. I hope they will have an updated version including new clothes from wii version. Available in Splitreason.com.

Glass Pendants

I always wanted to try glass pendants. So I bought a craft kit from kristenskrafts in ETSY.
In this kit, I can make 5 different shape glass pendants, 1 scrabble tile pendant and 1 bottle cap magnet. This is a fun experience. In this kit, she also included some beautiful images, but I used my own images to finish those. Love those.
